Recapture is quietly draining money from Texas public schools — and most parents have never heard of it. Come find out what it actually is, meet local candidates who are ready to fight it, and hear from the orgs already doing the work on school funding.

We're especially inviting Sunset Valley ES families who just went through their school's closure, along with families at the nearby schools now welcoming those students. This fight is about making sure no other school community goes through what you did.

Cold beer, good company, and real answers about what's happening to our schools — free beer for the first 20 parents from Sunset Valley ES who show up.

Splashing through summer while fighting for public schools! Join us for an afternoon of pool fun, community, and resources for the fight against recapture and for fully funded public education in Texas.

We'll have folks from the Joy Resistance Network, SEAT, and Our Schools Our Democracy on hand with info and ways to get involved, plus some candidates stopping by to talk with you directly.
